Cool ! Even my German news reader has problems showing Hebrew news feeds.
Can you direct me to which fonts exactly I need to add to the /home/user/.fonts ? Where can I get these fonts files ?

It is not about encoding, but rather about text rendering. The engine currently doesn't support other text rendering other than western.
