If the code is upstream, in the kernel.org releases, nothing new
should
need to be "ported", it should "just work". If not, we are doing
something wrong in the kernel development process.
I've run 3.1.8 kernel on my 9g20 hardware. Unfortunately it does not
solve the problem. How to check software issue?
