Yes, really using the camera (both audio mic and video).
The first few minutes works great, then problem arises.

I also still got spammed by the kernel every second(!) with a message like this, both with or without the reset quirks patch:

Sep 13 06:27:01 amd64 kernel: [134738.040246] 9:3:4: cannot set freq 48000 to ep 0x86
Sep 13 06:27:02 amd64 kernel: [134739.040120] 9:3:4: cannot set freq 48000 to ep 0x86
Sep 13 06:27:03 amd64 kernel: [134740.040117] 9:3:4: cannot set freq 48000 to ep 0x86

I've done some googling and here are a few hints I've found but not yet had
time to verify:

Initial regression between 2.6.38 -> 2.6.39 ... reported at:
https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=35922

Forum thread with some more people having problems:
https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=121607

I also read somewhere that there was someone who only saw problems when
using both audio and video from the webcam device at the same time. Not
when using it only for audio (mic).

I've downgraded to 2.6.38 at the moment, though not found a chance to test it
yet. The only change I've noticed so far is the "freq" spamming is gone!

I'll report back after this weekend with the results of testing
with 2.6.38 and also with the usb autosuspend disabled (thanks for the hint
on how to do that!).

(FYI, I've also looked briefly at the git log between 2.6.38 and .39 and my
untrained eye couldn't spot anything else then the usb autosuspend changes
that seemed relevant.)
