OK, perhaps that will change one day .. so than just for the record .. the patches seem to work fine so far with moschip 9990:

0d:00.5 USB Controller: NetMos Technology Device 9990 (prog-if 20 [EHCI])
        Subsystem: Device a000:4000
0d:00.6 USB Controller: NetMos Technology Device 9990 (prog-if 10 [OHCI])
        Subsystem: Device a000:4000
