Oh, the links are already dropped and the patch renames the devices to
the names of the symlink.

But if we are free to rename them, it might be good to prepend them
with the interface name, so they are uniquely named on the bus, and
can get added to the bus at any time somebody might need them. Not
sure, if that is something we care about now?
