You were correct. I just tried the 2.6.26 kernel, with pretty much same settings for everything else, and g_ether worked on my WinXP SP3 machine (was able to connect with SSH / tftp / etc). Thank you. I'll probably find this out on my own with trial and error later today/tomorrow, however, if I wanted to just revert the g_ether modual with the 2.6.28.2 kernel I'm using, would I replace the "linux- 2.6.26/drivers/usb/gadget/ether.c" file in the 2.6.28.2 folder? Or would I have to replace the entire "drivers/usb/gadget/" folder? Or something else I'd also have to modify?
