is the DOS set up a one-time thing or do I have to do that every
time? I will have to look around for the driver disk, so I might
take you up with and will let you know if I can't find it :)

David, If I recall correctly for the dectalk card itself, you have
to boot dos, config the card, then boot into Linux. The reason is
that some things need to get preloaded into the dectalk card. I just
looked back into my personal archives, and this is how I used to do
