-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: RIPEMD160 Yes; and after switching the cords around, I got sound out of the built-in card. Since then, I've been redoing my kernel so both cards are available but again like times past, the SB Live card just does a better job. The input is always so weak on these on-board cards! So if I want to force the Ubuntu live CD to use a specific card, how can I do that? Or is that even possible. For the time being, I can just plug in there but I think I wanna go back to SB Live for the rest of my sound card neads for both in and out of gnome.
