Chuck, I would suggest, rather than moving the shared libary, update the load library path, since moving the library caused this strange phenomenon. http://tldp.org/HOWTO/Program-Library-HOWTO/shared-libraries.html It seems like JACK created a shared memory device, perhaps due to the movement of the shared library?
