hello I hawe downloaded debian etch 4.0 iso image, whih include speakup. I burned cd from this iso and i booted this cd successfully. On the boot prompt, i am typing: speakup speakup_synth=apolo I an pressing enter and waiting, but speakup do not work properly! My speech synthesizer works, but i dont hear a boot up messages and anything else. Why speakup does not work?
