Also, my experience with unstable a few years ago when I tried debian was that there'd be a number of packages put on hold every time I did an upgrade, and some of those that were upgraded had something broken in them. So, when running debian this time around, I thought testing would be a better option for me than unstable, and so far I've had no reason to regret that choice.
