-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 My advice is go for unstable. It's not that unstable and turnaround for fixes is very very fast. My other advice is that when something gets put on hold, you can often resolve it by doing a dist-upgrade rather than a simple upgrade with apt-get. dist-upgrade is not a distribution upgrade, although the name sounds like it might be. It is a more aggressive variation of simple upgrade that does more of the necessary stuff for complicated upgrade issues. I have been using unstable for six months or more with no major problems here. Minor ones got fixed in a matter of days. - -- The Moon is Waning Crescent (1% of Full) Get downloads from http://www.mhcable.com/~chuckh and remember, INFORMATION WANTS TO BE FREE! -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.2.2 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFEKRynXnuiIOyDVQURAizBAJ9CGhpapvCNb6cf3iePp7dqsJdQJgCghiSg /wCtlXJXMSTHADCzV83wOis= =ZBGC -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
