FOlks, I may have posted this some while back, but can't recall. In any case if anyone could help him, I would appreciate it. I don't know anything about this device. If someone has already contacted him, thank you very much. ------- Forwarded Message Return-Path: wd8ldy at xtra.co.nz Delivery-Date: Fri Jan 21 20:01:05 2005 Return-path: <wd8ldy at xtra.co.nz> Envelope-to: showell at localhost Received: from localhost ([127.0.0.1] ident=showell) by apollo.lan with esmtp (Exim 3.36 #1 (Debian)) id 1Cs9eD-0005zo-00 for <showell at localhost>; Fri, 21 Jan 2005 20:01:05 -0500 Received: from mail.adelphia.net [68.168.78.100] by localhost with POP3 (fetchmail-6.2.5) for showell at localhost (single-drop); Fri, 21 Jan 2005 20:01:05 -0500 (EST) Received: from mta207-rme.xtra.co.nz ([210.86.15.118]) by mta4.adelphia.net (InterMail vM.6.01.03.02 201-2131-111-104-20040324) with ESMTP id <20050122005256.UGJY23606.mta4.adelphia.net at mta207-rme.xtra.co.nz> for <n3byy at adelphia.net>; Fri, 21 Jan 2005 19:52:56 -0500 Received: from mta2-rme.xtra.co.nz ([210.86.15.240]) by mta207-rme.xtra.co.nz with ESMTP id <20050122005255.OWLS7126.mta207-rme.xtra.co.nz at mta2-rme.xtra.co.nz> for <n3byy at adelphia.net>; Sat, 22 Jan 2005 13:52:55 +1300 Received: from DAVIDDESKTOP ([222.152.157.216]) by mta2-rme.xtra.co.nz with SMTP id <20050122005254.LKQI8463.mta2-rme.xtra.co.nz at DAVIDDESKTOP> for <n3byy at adelphia.net>; Sat, 22 Jan 2005 13:52:54 +1300 Message-ID: <002301c5001c$b3598580$0202a8c0 at DAVIDDESKTOP> From: "David Allen" <wd8ldy@xxxxxxxxxx> To: "Scott Howell" <n3byy at adelphia.net> Subject: Packet Radio question Date: Sat, 22 Jan 2005 13:52:51 +1300 MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; format=flowed; charset="iso-8859-1"; reply-type=original Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit X-Priority: 3 X-MSMail-Priority: Normal X-Mailer: Microsoft Outlook Express 6.00.2900.2180 X-MimeOLE: Produced By Microsoft MimeOLE V6.00.2900.2180 Hi Scott! Been seeing your messages on the bookport list. I can't help noticing that the most sensible people on that list seem to be hams. Of course, this doesn't surprise me. But I digress. I'm thinking you might be able to help me. I now live in New Zealand, where ham help is pretty sparse. I've gotten my old Kantronix KPC3 out of mothballs and sent over from the U.S. I'd like to get it going using a Braille lite 40 as a terminal. Have you ever done such a thing? The serial cable is in good condition, so I don't think there's a problem there. 73, Dave WD8LDY/ZL4LDY 115-A Musselburgh Rise ------- End of Forwarded Message
