Off topic: looking for a DECTalk express cable

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Kenny,

When I wanted a new cable for my DecTalk Express, I had the telco boys
here at work whip one up for me. The only problem is that at the DecTalk
end, the connector is not a standard RJ45 connector. It is a proprietary
Dec connector, and I don't remember the part number. That said, if you
went to any computer cable shop you should be able to get one made for
you to the length you want. I actually had the boys make me up a spare
that I keep in my brief case just in case I forget the cable or if
something goes wrong with it.

I probably didn't answer your question, but that is what I did when I
needed a new cable.
