-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi all. I managed to be able to boot from Cd by being told of a boot menu which I can access by hitting f12. However, the kernel on the Slackware-9.1CD1 disk appears to hang after it probes for ISAPNP devices. Does anyone know why this would occur? Perhaps trying to install Slackware-10 might eliminate the hang problem? Right now I am downloading the Speakup-modified FC2 Disk 1 from Bumpy to give that a go. However, I want to avoid Fedora if at all possible...I'm not looking forward to future RPM hell and weird build errors whenever I tried to compile X package.
