gnopernicus.

Hello, Seth.
If you have an interest in experimenting with the gnome accessibility
applications and tools you will require Gnome 2.4.0 or better.
Slackware 9.1 comes with Gnome 2.4 which would be a good starting place for
a new user of Gnome, x, and gnopernicus.
Once you have become more familiar with Gnome you may perhaps learn to
upgrade as I did by compiling the entire Gnome 2.6 desktop and apps from
source.
However, compiling Gnome 2.6 is a rather big project, and should only be
attempted by very advanced users.
