Hi all! I'm running slackware 9.0 and it's working really well, but although I would like to play with gnom I no absolutely nothing about x, gnom or gnopernicus. Could someone give me some instructions on where I'd have to go to get what I'd need to get started? I have gnom on my system i'm pretty sure, as I've installed everything on the cd. Thanks much in advance, I know that gnom accessibility has a ways to go but I'm interested in trying it anyway. Cheereo and thanks again! ----- Original Message ----- From: "Tom and Esther Ward" <tward1978@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: "Speakup is a screen review system for Linux." <speakup at braille.uwo.ca> Sent: Tuesday, April 27, 2004 3:18 PM Subject: Re: gnopernicus. > Perhaps they named it libgnome-speech as some distributions of Linux do. > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Shaun Oliver" <shaun.oliver at optusnet.com.au> > To: "Speakup is a screen review system for Linux." <speakup at braille.uwo.ca> > Sent: Tuesday, April 27, 2004 8:37 AM > Subject: Re: gnopernicus. > > > > from what I can see there ain't any gnome-speech package according to > > debian's archives. > > > > -- > > Shaun Oliver > > > > > > "I refuse to have a battle of wits with an unarmed person." > > email: shaun.oliver at optusnet.com.au > > WEB: http://blindman.homelinux.org/~blindman/ > > IRC: irc.awesomechat.net:6666 > > IRCNICK: blindman > > > > _______________________________________________ > > Speakup mailing list > > Speakup at braille.uwo.ca > > http://speech.braille.uwo.ca/mailman/listinfo/speakup > > > > _______________________________________________ > Speakup mailing list > Speakup at braille.uwo.ca > http://speech.braille.uwo.ca/mailman/listinfo/speakup
