Just want to make 1 clarification ...

All Real86 (DOS), Virtual86 (DOS, DOS/Win and NTVDM) and 386Enhanced (DOS/Win, 
including through Windows Me) solutions still have client-side 2GiB file size 
limitations.  Samba 2.2+ just offers LFS support on 32-bit GNU/Linux platforms 
for NT clients and other, true 32-bit CIFS/SMB clients (e.g., Linux itself).  
Samba 2.2+ won't let you get around DOS, DOS/Win or NTVDM client limitations.
