BTW I pretty much rewrote the bit plane stuff, so it doesn't constantly
corrupts the output.
??? When did you get to see output corruption?
I see a corrupt penguin (huhuh) when using video=atafb:vga256 on aranym.

That I can believe (after all, I said the logo was using cfb and looks
funny). My question was on the text output corruption (I hadn't been able
to reproduce that easily because my Powerbook key mapping does not produce
any up/down/left/right arrow keys). I'll check Roman's patch for
copyarea/fillrect now.
