Hi, 

The first time I plugged the new card (MSI) in beside the old card 
(KWorld) my system locked up and I lost a few files due to a file 
system corruption.  It might have just been a coincidence but I am 
physically swapping cards and booting into different installations 
for the time being.  

Here are some edited highlights from the test installation's messages 
file.  I will do another card swap and reboot later to confirm that 
it is what you asked for.
