Try something like this... (adds a -S argument that enables committed diseqc switch commands)

Thx for the patch, but me cant get it working :(

Me tryed it this way:

./scan -a 0 -p -o vdr -S -s 0 /usr/local/src/hg-dvb-apps/util/scan/dvb-s/Astra-28.2E > /tmp/channels.conf.Astra28

scanning /usr/local/src/hg-dvb-apps/util/scan/dvb-s/Astra-28.2E
using '/dev/dvb/adapter0/frontend0' and '/dev/dvb/adapter0/demux0'
initial transponder 10773000 H 22000000 5

tune to: 10773:h:S0.0W:22000:

WARNING: >>> tuning failed!!!

tune to: 10773:h:S0.0W:22000: (tuning failed)

Done.

This Astra 28.2° is on my uncommitted switch input 2 (Spaun SUR 420F) and on input 1 on the 4/1 diseqc behind the uncommitted

Ohhh -- so CASCADED switches, eh? Now you say! :-)

That'd be a bit more work, since both uncommitted and committed commands would have to be sent, and sent in the right order, with a delay between them. The patch I sent just lets you control either a committed switch OR an uncommitted switch, not both. Changing it so that the -S arg takes an integer argument would let you send both commands, and then there'd need to be a way to specify the order of the switches. Pretty simple, but I'm out of time to play around with patches ATM.
