Hi! As the 64bit kernel seemed to remain a possible source of error, I installed a 32bit Athlon K7 image. The result is: Everthing works fine! So the 64 bit kernel with 32 bit userland is obviously a problem. Or is it 64bit kernel in general? Thanks for your support! I will later try with a self-compiled 32bit Athlon K8 kernel. BTW: I scanned for channels with kaffeine, but it detects much less channels then the original win32 software. So I tried it manually with scan to see what exactly happens (all with the latest tuning file de-Leipzig). This is a part of the output: $ cat de-Leipzig # DVB-T Leipzig (Germany) # Generated by Albrecht Lohoefener <albrechtloh@xxxxxx> T 642000000 8MHz 2/3 NONE QAM16 8k 1/4 NONE # CH1:ZDF CH2:ZDFinfo/3sat CH3:ZDFDoku/KiKa T 205500000 7MHz 2/3 NONE QAM16 8k 1/16 NONE # CH1:BR CH2:MDR CH3:rbb CH4: WDR T 482000000 8MHz 2/3 NONE QAM16 8k 1/4 NONE # CH1:arte CH2:Phoenix CH3:EinsFestival CH4:ARD $ scan -n -i 1 -p de-Leipzig scanning de-Leipzig using '/dev/dvb/adapter0/frontend0' and '/dev/dvb/adapter0/demux0' initial transponder 642000000 0 2 0 1 1 3 0 initial transponder 205500000 1 2 0 1 1 1 0 initial transponder 482000000 0 2 0 1 1 3 0 >>> tune to: >>> 642000000:INVERSION_ON:BANDWIDTH_8_MHZ:FEC_2_3:FEC_NONE:QAM_16:TRANSMISSION_MODE_8K:GUARD_INTERVAL_1_4:HIERARCHY_NONE 0x0000 0x0205: pmt_pid 0x0250 ZDFmobil -- Doku/KiKa (running) 0x0000 0x0203: pmt_pid 0x0230 ZDFmobil -- Info/3sat (running) 0x0000 0x0202: pmt_pid 0x0220 ZDFmobil -- ZDF (running) Network Name 'ZDF' WARNING: filter timeout pid 0x0010 >>> tune to: >>> 205500000:INVERSION_ON:BANDWIDTH_7_MHZ:FEC_2_3:FEC_NONE:QAM_16:TRANSMISSION_MODE_8K:GUARD_INTERVAL_1_16:HIERARCHY_NONE WARNING: >>> tuning failed!!! >>> tune to: >>> 205500000:INVERSION_ON:BANDWIDTH_7_MHZ:FEC_2_3:FEC_NONE:QAM_16:TRANSMISSION_MODE_8K:GUARD_INTERVAL_1_16:HIERARCHY_NONE >>> (tuning failed) WARNING: >>> tuning failed!!! >>> tune to: >>> 482000000:INVERSION_ON:BANDWIDTH_8_MHZ:FEC_2_3:FEC_NONE:QAM_16:TRANSMISSION_MODE_8K:GUARD_INTERVAL_1_4:HIERARCHY_NONE 0x0000 0x0060: pmt_pid 0x0600 ARD -- Das Erste (running) 0x0000 0x0005: pmt_pid 0x0050 ARD -- EinsFestival (running) 0x0000 0x0002: pmt_pid 0x0020 ARD -- arte (running) 0x0000 0x0003: pmt_pid 0x0030 ARD -- Phoenix (running) Network Name 'TSI/MDR 1.1' I remembered that Mike mentioned a high sensitivity of the device under Linux. So I connected the antenna via a passive Y switch, but that did not change anything. I would (again) appreciate your help.
