Completely false.
The current Zyn release already has had a small UI change by using NTK
instead of FLTK.

This has been merged a few months ago.
There were also talks about doing a completely new UI.

I grateful notice that the guitarix knobs which are used (without
permission/credits of/to the original author Pete Shorthose) in the
