Just one question while you're talking about distros. I would like to
use my old Asus EEE as a synth/sampler/looper/... Is there any
multimedia distro that is not based on Ubuntu? Because of EEE's limited
resources I thought about putting Arch on it and then customizing it to
my needs, but currently I don't have much time for that so a lightweight
audio distro would be great.
Someone on the list uses an Asus EEE for his live performances. Perhaps
he has advice?
I think a couple of general purpose distros now offer Asus-EEE-optimized
set ups, might be a good starting point?
