I'm still 32-bit here, but I know there have been 64-bit versions of
the Planet for a while now.  I don't know how it compares to the 32-bit
version.  The website documentation (which Fernando admits is lagging
woefully behind) lists FC6 as the latest release, while 7 is in fact, the
latest, and says that not all packages have been built for 64-bit.  That
may have changed.
