Hello, I'm using Agere softmodem 11c11040 on Opensuse 11.2 distribution with 2.6.31.12 kernel and alsa 1.0.21. I downloaded and succeded in compiling agrsm-11c11040-2.1.80~20091225 driver without problems. Modules load correctly and modem connection works with wvdial and Kppp. My problem is with faxes. Using mgetty to receive calls, it puts modem waiting for a call, detects the ring, answers and then computer hangs without logging anything that could help me to detect the problem.
