All, I have had both success and failure with the agrsm-2.6.30.tar.bz2 tarball now available on the http://linmodems.technion.ac.il/packages/ltmodem/11c11040/ site. [This is the most recent driver for the 11c11040 chip that I prepared some time ago.] wvdialconf worked Ok for many vanilla kernels ranging from 2.6.28 to 2.6.31, and it even works for the 2.6.32 with some minor modifications. However, when I tried it with the Ubuntu kernel 2.6.31-16 built with the Ubuntu config file config-2.6.31-16-generic from the linux-image-2.6.31-16-generic_2.6.31-16.53_i386.deb package, the last stage in the process (the wvdialconf run) failed and said "Killed". The kernel source was taken from the Ubuntu sources linux-source-2.6.31_2.6.31-16.53_all.deb. Then I built the same 2.6.31-16 kernel with non-Ubuntu generic Linux config file, and wvdialconf worked fine. -- Nick Zhuravlev www.auriga.com On Fri, Dec 18, 2009 at 07:07:09PM -0500, Marvin Stodolsky <marvin.stodolsky@xxxxxxxxx> wrote: > Fabricio, > > Have you had any successes yet under 2.6.31 kernels with the agrsm drivers? > > MarvS > > On Fri, Dec 18, 2009 at 10:32 AM, Vijay C <c_vijay@xxxxxxx> wrote: > > Dear Martin, > > I am using Ubuntu 9.10 and the kernel version is 2.6.31-16-generic.
