I have OpenSuSE 11.1 on my notebook. I never got the modem working. None of the stuff works with 64-bit. Question 1: Are you using OpenSuSE 11.1 64-bit? If so, is there any reason you cannot drop back to the 32-bit version? (If you have over 4Gig of RAM installed and cannot easily take it out, that would be a reason.)
