Create/edit with:
$ sudo gedit /etc/network/interfaces

auto lo
iface lo inet loopback

# auto eth0
iface eth0 inet dhcp

## end /etc/network/interfaces

and on the next  bootup, eth0 should not setup.
Should you need it sometime, it can be manually activated with:
$ sudo ifup eth0
during any current session, or permanantly by editing the
# auto eth0
to
auto eth0
