Hello,
My modem connects, but I am unable to browse any sites, or use irc or
any other connection.
my hsf driver is # 7.80.02.04full for my kernel listed above. I have
added my isp dns's to kppp, and I do not have wvdial on my system, nor
can I get it on at this time due to the lack of modem connectivity.
Any help would be appreciated.

For owners of a Dell PCs with Conexant HSF modems, a driver source package with full speed enabled is available, but requires driver compiling. Read DOCs/Conexant.txt
