Shannon, Try the following: me@mach:~$ sudo modprobe ungrab-winmodem me@mach:~$ sudo modprobe slamr but add this me@mach:~$ sudo mknod -m 600 /dev/slamr0 c 242 0 before me@mach:~$ sudo slmodemd -c USA /dev/slamr0 Report back if this fixed it or still seeing the same problem?
