Re: Timo Kosiol, Germany - working in Peru -, Kernel 2.6.27-7 generic

Thanks for the answer, I had the hsfmodem_7.68.00.14full_i386.deb package
from Linuxant installed, but GnomePPP which I used to search my modem
didn't find any modem allthough there are two modems at the pci-slots. But
before you said, that it seems to be the right one I deinstalled it again
because it didn't work. After your answer I tried it again, but still no
modem with neither wvdialconf nor gnomeppp. Now I have a fresh Ubuntu
8.10. Can you tell me which package I should install. Is there a free
alternative from Linuxant (I know they have the free but still speed
limited one)?
So far, appreciate your answer.
Best regards
Timo
