TImo, There seems to be a functional hsdmodem package installed. Try: $ sudo wvdialconf which should detect the modem. If so edit in your personal information with: $ sudo gedit /etc/wvdial.conf removing the symbols ; < > $ man wvdial.conf will relate details. Then you should be able to dailout with: $ sudo wvdial MarvS On Mon, Apr 6, 2009 at 10:36 AM, Timo Kosiol <timo@xxxxxxxxx> wrote: > Hello, > I would like to get your help to install two modems on my Ubuntu 8.10. > I tried a lot the last days, but i didn't found a driver / documentation > to get my 2 modems at the pci-slots to work. > Here the text from ScanModem. > > ModemData.txt: > Only plain text email is forwarded by the Discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx List Server, > as HTML can contain viruses.
