Usama, The Dell drivers are not as current as those at Linuxant. from http://www.linuxant.com/drivers/hcf/full/downloads-ubuntu-x86.php get the hcfpcimodem_1.17full_k2.6.27_7_generic_ubuntu_i386.deb.zip But uninstall the current package before using this new one.
