Hi,
I just executed slmodemd and got the following message, which seems to indicate that there were no errors:

sudo slmodemd -c GERMANY --alsa hw:0,6
SmartLink Soft Modem: version 2.9.11 Aug  6 2007 22:02:27
symbolic link `/dev/ttySL0' -> `/dev/pts/2' created.
modem `hw:0,6' created. TTY is `/dev/pts/2'
Use `/dev/ttySL0' as modem device, Ctrl+C for termination.

Then I used pppconfig for creating a connection using /dev/ttySL0 as the modem device.

But when I want to connect, I get this:

pon [provider]
/usr/sbin/pppd: In file /etc/ppp/peers/[provider]: unrecognized option '/dev/ttySL0'

What did i do wrong or forget?

This is really a bit hard for me to understand, since I am not so experienced with it.
So it would be nice if someone could help me.
