Have you tried to use the package bellow? http://lisa.gov.pt/ftp/suse/10.2/repo/non-oss/suse/i586/smartlink-softmodem-2.9.10-75.i586.rpm I used to combine this package with my own (compiled from source) modules. Just move the .ko files to the proper folder and use 'depmod -a' to register them. I'm not sure if you need to replace the slmodemd (/usr/sbin) as well. HTH Stan
