Ok Antonio, thanks.
When the problem started the kernel development community had given me (personally) notice that it would be fixed, and had been. So it's obviously back - Phoenix.
Thanks again
Jacques

Ungrab-winmodem becomes irrelevant with 2.6.21

I'll stop including it in new slamr-2.6.N.tar.gz
then.

Thanks, Marv.
Good luck, Hasan.

Antonio,
Just in case you have not seen this before, look
at the 1st-README in
the tarball.
Marv's work in these files removes most of the
burden, and this is very
important for newcomers.
Reminder, full path for download:

Marv: is ungrab-modem still relevant for such
high
kernels? I have lost
the thread there, it seems.

Jacques

Please do not remove ungrab-winmodem as it still
might
be needed. I'll run some tests without it,
currently
under 2.6.21.1 kernel and report back.

Regards,

Antonio
