For Fedora Core release 5, kernel 2.6.19-1.2288.2.1.fc5smp, start at
http://www.linuxant.com/drivers/hsf/full/downloads.php?PHPSESSID=b0cb1c2b5ea994619248f61672fa1e57
to see if there is a hsfmodem driver package EXACTLY matching your
kernel + processor.
If not you will have to download the generic hsfmodem-*.rpm.zip
package. Before using it your System MUST be setup for compiling by
installtion (if necessary) packages for: make, gcc-4.1(I presume) and
kernel-smp-devel_2.6.19-1.2288.2.1.fc5 ( or some such name)

support@xxxxxxxxxxxx does provide good support for their for pay packages,
through the 14K test version is free.
