All I see now is a completely blank screen right after the grub screen (with BIOS VT-d on, and with intel_iommu=on..etc boot options). There seems to be no logging happening (syslog has no entries for these boots).

The blank screen persists and there is no response from any inputs. I waited 3-5 minutes and then rebooted manually.
