I'm not certain I believe this...
I have several GMail accounts used on mailing lists... (not this list).

My messages are collected from several locations (including GMail) by a 
local fetchmail and, to my knowledge, I have not failed to "receive" my own 
mail from any list.

Might there be something about this list in particular when used with 
GMail...?? Hmmm...
