I can confirm that my mailbox are older than 7 years ( and I would be really sad to lose more than 10 years of mails).They also did a patch.

I've opened a real issue for this: https://github.com/cyrusimap/cyrus-imapd/issues/4035 -- sorry I didn't do so earlier, I kept intending to but then forgetting while I was actually at a computer.
