That actually worked for me using Adium on MacOS Catalina. For the first time ever. In the past I always had to decompose the URL manually and enter stuff into the “Join” dialog. It may be because Catalina has given up on pretending the built in Messages app does jabber. Or it may be that when I got my current Macbook, I set things up from scratch instead of pulling the extremely crufty configuration foward from my previous computer. |
