+1 to what Kyle & Paul said. I agree this is a job scope / expectations challenge. Unless the expectations for the AD role meaningfully changes, we should not expect any great increase in the number of candidates.

    This is indeed the core of the problem. And perhaps we need to think
    about how it can be addressed in other ways.
