OK, that was an amusing (*ahem*) little diversion. Trimming down to
(what I think is) the point:

I do not believe there is anything in the charter that would preclude
the WG from doing any of those things (among other possible things). In
fact, I think the current version has text that actually includes the
above possibilities. So I do not see any change necessary for this concern.
