I don't mind discussion branching off to new directions, sometimes we discover useful new things because of that. Phillip had an angle about this topic that I think is worthwhile to think about. Of course, it doesn't take away the need to discuss other angles. How we manage registries that we still need continues to be an important topic. We've gotten some feedback on that on this and the IAB list, and hopefully we'll get some more. One of my goals with the article was to get that discussion started, and draw attention to Olaf's document. Please keep those comments coming. (And maybe there's a lesson there for other things that come up during the discussion. Writing a draft and making a proposal, building support for it are good things.) Jari
