I see nothing there that suggests that gender diversity is excluded. If anything the latest thread suggests that there is an ongoing discussion. I think a constructive way is to suggest ways of engaging/attracting women to the community. Maybe you have some ideas that can help. One of the leads of the diversity team is a woman. That link proves nothing either ways.
