I don't know precisely what you mean by this, but I assure you that there is no oath given.   Speaking for myself, much of what I have learned about how to be a leader (at the AD level) in the IETF I have learned on the job.   This is an iterative process.   Nomcom appointees are not magical.   We do our best, and when we screw up the community corrects us, sometimes harshly, sometimes eloquently, but without fail.   This is a good thing.
