There have been some decisions related to meetings where the IAOC and the IESG need to be in alignment. The last two IAB Chairs have not been active ex-officio members of the IESG, and they have let the liaisons between the IAB and the IESG cover these responsibilities. As a result, I have been the only IAOC member with insight into the IESG. This has been importing in these matters.
