I agree that the discussion up to this point was appropriate for the IETF list.  But if this discussion is going to result in anything useful we need to get into more detail than is appropriate here.   So it's about time to move the discussion.

Would SAAG be the right venue to discuss deprecating rfc 8252? It's certainly not the OAUTH wg itself. But I still have a lot of concern of how two non-security AD's found the same problem as I did, yet voted "No objection". That is a real process problem for IETF on the whole, not just some particular area.
