You mean spell it out in the RFC rather than in the header field name?   My concern is that implementers won't read the RFC, or they won't care what the details are because the header makes the meaning "obvious".  We all know that both not really paying attention to the details of the specification, and creeping featurism, are quite common.

But to be clear, having a more descriptive field name than Expires is a preference for me, not a deal-breaker.
